Spring 2018 Goals

This semester I would like to stay organized and goal-oriented to stay on track for graduation and beyond. I will create a writing and practice plan and schedule so that I will be able to progress throughout the semester.
Specifically, my to-do list this semester includes:
Complete dissertation proposal
Collect dissertation data and complete chapters 1-4
Prepare the highest quality performance and teaching portfolio (on paper and in video recordings)
Apply to jobs and create a plan for next year
I've read a lot on this subject and this is among the more useful write-ups out there. There's a clarity here that comes from doing the thing, not just reading about it. Nicely done — there's a lot of fluff out there on this, and your post avoids all of it. The examples made the abstract parts concrete, and that's where it really came together. I went a bit deeper into the practical side of this at bonzofinance.com for those who want it.
